This coffee has been grown and processed by William Mora Merno, a member of the ASOPROAAA Cooperative. The farm was named after the town in which it is located, purchased by the Merno family 35 years ago. The farm employs sustainable production methods to improve soil recuperation, as well as conserving flora and fauna.
ASOPROAAA represents more than 1000 smallhold farmers and is recognised internationally as a quality coffee producer. The reputation has resulted in higher prices achieved and financial sustainability for farmers. The cooperative has built a wet mill to increase production volume, improve quality, and regularly host intensive training events for family members.
